Let’s talk about Christmas Stockings and our North American tour!

Greetings from North America! We have started our tour and have been enjoying meeting loads of people at all the events we have been doing so far. We will be around for a while and hopefully we will get to meet as many of our North American fans as possible! Check out some pictures from the events that we have done so far, in the end of this post.

This week, on our channel:

We have decided to release a Christmas tutorial. Yes, those of you that think it’s too early for Christmas, we hear you and we totally agree with you! But, we have had many people comment that releasing these projects in December is too late for them, so and we understand that too. Therefore, we hope that by releasing this pattern and tutorial in mid October will give you plenty of time to prepare for the season! Check out the video below and get the pattern here.

I’m so excited to be able to meet and learn from you at the Uncommon Threads event. The venue, Hidden Villa, is a unique place in our community. It is a working farm that is open to the public so all can enjoy the garden and animals. There is a Hostel there as well. The Duveneck family owned the property and in the 1940’s they created the first integrated summer camp for children In the US Which was held on this farm. It is still in existence today. The ethos of this place is so in keeping with what you both embrace and support. I hope you’ll have time to take a walk around (it’s not very big) while you’re there. Take care and see you soon.

I enjoyed learning from you both on Saturday at Nordic Museum. I relayed the Art Easel story to my husband. He use to worry about my Ebay purchases. When we first met, I had won a keyboard only to discover it was a full case of keyboards.
You are a delight and sharing the joy of knitting was a great experience.
