Thank you for the great instructions. I enjoy watching you guys every Sunday. Enjoy your day!
It’s wonderful watching you knit. I wish I could see you in Australia but I live in a rural Australian community so appreciate your online demos. Suzette
I think it’s called “slip stitch heel” when you do the pattern in lines
I want to find a free pattern to crochet socks!! Please can you help me I knit your socks with your lovely wool,
Thanks
I would also love a crochet pattern for socks. You know, in your spare time!

After having to darn a pair of sock heels, I reinforce all my sock heels. Also provides extra “cushion” for my heel. Happy knitting.
I like to go toe up because there are no pickups for the heel and no hole to close at the toe. You might like to try it one day.
What is the reason for reinforcing the back of the heel? My sock heels wear out on the bottom, not on the back of the heel.
Great video, as always.
Like the slip stitch heel, you can also do it toe up.. which I prefer.
(met you in Seattle….see you in Vancouver, maybe)
Hi!
I bought your new pattern : sock with reinforced heel flap –
I think there is an error, I am trying to knit the Heel flap version 2. Concerning the Ndl 5 – the pattern dont work for 32 stitches.
Is it quite difficult to understand. I tried for a few hours now and I dont get it –
Thanks for answering,
Huguette
