We are very much looking forward to our third knitting voyage with Hurtigruten in late May and early June this year, when we will be travelling northbound along the stunning Norwegian coast to experience the midnight sun!
24 hours of daylight means more time to knit, and we are sure many of our fellow voyagers on this cruise are looking forward to this experience! We are expecting a good crowd of people from the USA, Canada, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand and Norway in our group. We are always very pleased to know that we have a few Norwegians joining our group, as we really want our international guests to “meet the locals” and learn as much as possible about our culture and also about our Norwegian knitting traditions.
We know it is short notice, but the travel agency that organises these events for us has received a cancellation for our departure with the M/S Finnmarken on May 28th, 2019 and therefore, we have 2 spots available in our group for this amazing trip.
There is hardly any availability to do this cruise during the period when we have the midnight sun in Norway this year, as most departures with Hurtigruten are already fully booked during the entire summer , so, if you were considering doing this trip and didn’t book in advance or if your plans have changed and suddenly you realise that you are available and want to join us, please contact our travel agency by clicking here.
Starting next year, we will only do 1 cruise per year and it will not take place during the period when we have the midnight sun, so if you really want to experience the midnight sun together with us, this really is your last chance!
We can’t wait to embark on the M/S Finmarken and to do yet another trip along the word’s mos beautiful coastline!
