January 6th, 2019
Hi Everyone!
In today’s video, we show you how to knit a net bag. This is a great and very stylish/chic net bag, perfect for grocery shopping or the beach! And, if you are concerned about the environment and the fact that there are too many plastic bags around, just as we are, this is the perfect thing to make and take with you when shopping! Help us save the earth by reducing the consumption of plastic one knitted bag at a time!

The bag is actually knitted and has an effect that makes it look like a net bag – very elastic and great to fill and carry, as it has a sturdy handle.

Thank you so much for this awesome pattern i will knit a lot of these! I hate plastic too and industrialized food! I could go on and on.. lol I always say i was born in the wrong era, i am a weaver, knitter, crochet, rug hook paint and grow veg and make my own food.. I am thankful for computers otherwise i never would have been able to see you two , but i limit use. You are both so inspiring for all! This is such a nice colorful fun tote bag we could all use some color! Thank you so much..
Thanks a lot! Anita C. In Toronto
Every time I see Arne thread a needle in a nano-second, I think we need a lesson on how to do that! I have perfect vision, but it still takes me forever to do that. There must be a secret!
I hope you’re continuing to feel better Carlos, I’m sure Arne & Freya are doing their part to help! I look forward to a time when the live podcasts return.
Thanks so much for this! A much needed project. I like to knit to fill a need someone has. The world needs reusable bags that aren’t just ugly pressed paper. We also need some beauty in our lives. Color especially for a gray long winter. And it’s another reason to get more stash.
Very nice I hope see you in crochet of coat thank u
