Congratulations from one of the happy 100,000. Youtube invited me to check out your channel exactly right when I needed your help to learn to finally make duplicate stitches. That tutorial saved my project and your kind, funny and life-affirming podcasts were also just what I needed to help me transition to this crazy pandemic, work-from-home-go-nowhere-see-barely-anyone world we’re living in. Thanks for reminding us all that we may be distant, but we don’t need to be alone!

Hurray, Congratulations Arne and Carlos. I am so glad to see the both of you back and recovering. You both seem to have lost a lot of weight and yet are so cheerful and inspiring. Thank you for all that you do to keep us sane in these crazy times. I watch your videos, just to listen to the conversation, your voices, see your beautiful home, gorgeous gardens. It helps me tune out all the turmoil going on outside. I think life is beautiful, people are good, everything is going to be okay. Praying for your swift recovery and coming back to 100% fitness.

Congratulations on reaching 100,000 subscribers. Love your garden and always love gardens in the fall. Your views over the lake are spectacular. I’m sure you will enjoy being home this fall and winter as it will be almost like a “sabbatical” and that is always refreshing for the soul. I’m really enjoying your Sit n Knit for a Bit (like sitting next to you and having casual interesting conversations). As a fairly new subscriber, I’m catching up on your tutorials and really enjoy them – they are very easy to follow. Thank you both.

I think you brought an ever lasting sweet pea – these come up every year but sadly they have no smell.
You’ll have to throw down some scented annual sweet pea seeds now so they will come up in the Spring.

Fantastic subscriber accomplishment for you and your team! How generous you are to share your creativity and life style. Although it feels a bit like peeking in a window, I admit to loving your productions! Although we never meet, it begins to seem as though you are friends.

Naturally, each segment, generates many questions like how do you care for and store your lovely knits? Do you have to worry about damage from moths? Are there special cabinets for storing your knits? Differences in long and short term storage? You see what I mean? Maintain the excellent work, men, I love the lessons on culture, needlework expertise, cooking, chatting and peeking! Much appreciation, Arne, Carlos and Team!

Congratulations on your achievement of 100000 subscribers – well deserved. Thank you for the truly delightful update on your lovely garden. Nice to see the dogs are now playing nicely. A pleasure to meet hard-working Rob at last – a man of few words as they say. It would be really nice to see a little of where you walk the dogs, as I’m sure it must be very pretty around your lake and the countryside.

Thank you for sharing your lovely garden. The fall, foliage colours, with the sun, peaking through them, are beautiful. I also enjoyed all the cozy , seating areas that you have around the garden. It was fun to see Rob and the dogs all busy going about their daily business. I have green house envy! Many of my tomatoes don’t make it until the end of the summer.

We will be putting our fall garden to bed soon, here, too at our home on Vancouver Island, Canada. I wish we had foxes here, even though they are shoe thieves. But instead of foxes we have cougars, bears and whales!

    Bye!

I love your pots in the garden, made of roof tiles. As per the tomatoes, when there is a surplus, we make green ketchup with the green tomatoes (+ onion, green sweet pepper, cucumber, cauliflower, sugar, vinager and pickles spices). It takes a bit of time to cut all the ingredients in small pieces. It accompanies very well a white fish and meat pie (beef, chicken, duck or else).
Have a good time enjoying the fall colours, as we have here in Quebec.

Your garden tour was so enjoyable, thank you. The sweet pea plant you showed is the perennial variety. It will come back and grow strongly every year (if it’s not too cold there! Not sure how much cold they will stand) but will never have any scent. The sweet peas with scent that you hoped for are the ones you have to sow every year. The good news is that now is the right time to sow the seeds! I will gladly send you some if you like, as a small thank you for all you give to us.
