Norwegian Craft Traditions – Episode 2: The Sweater Detective

Welcome to Setesdal, Norway!

We meet up with Annemor Sundbø, a distant relative of Arne’s, to talk about her work as the Norwegian sweater detective. Annemor has spent more than half her life researching, studying and documenting the cultural history of Norway through Norwegian knitting patterns and knitwear. She guides us through the exhibit of her work, currently on display at the Setesdal Museum and explains how the traditional knitting patterns have moved from sweater to sweater throughout history.

Check out the episode here below and keep scrolling for more information about Annemor Sundbø and the Setesdal museum.
