We are back with new episodes on our channel after a nice summer break! Let’s start by publishing two sock episodes in these next two weeks!
This week it’s all about the heel flap, so we have now added “The 4th easiest sock in the world to our collection” and next week, we are going to show you how to make a reinforced heel which will last forever and ever! The reinforced heel can be made with any sock heel you choose, it works for afterthought heels, short row heels and also heel flaps. We have included instructions for 2 different reinforced heels with todays pattern in our web shop.
Get the pattern for both the heel flap and the 2 different types of reinforced heels by clicking HERE. We will be getting back to the reinforced heel next week so stay tuned!!
We’ve also made up a small e-book of all our 4 heel patterns + the instructions for 2 different reinforced heels, which is available HERE.

Edit: Due to a small mix-up,, our two episodes about the heel flap, gusset and reinforced heel are being published in the reverse order. We say in the beginning of this video that the reinforced heel has already been published, however, it has not and will only be published next week.

I’m confused. I don’t remember a “reinforced-heel” sock blog/tutorial anywhere. But it would seem this post is supposedly following that one. Where do I find it? Thank you!
As we wrote in the text above, the reinforced heel episode will be published next week.
This video seems to be out of order, knitting the heel flap should have been published first.
As we write in the beginning of this blog post, the reinforced heel/flap will be published next week.
As always, so good to get news from A&C. Exercise for learning and inspiration for more knitting along with what seems like a visit from good friends.
Although it has been really hot here, I love looking for sweater patterns. So in that state of mind, I looked at your new Nordic collection’s Vidar, and thought that those Nordic roses were melting in the summer heat. Maybe in the winter I would have thought icicles.
Thank you! I was having trouble with the heel. This video explained it so well.
I love your sock patterns, but I wish you would stop showing me the newest gorgeous yarn every time! (kidding)
I already have several skeins waiting- I don’t need more yarn!!! I do adore this pink/blue one.
See you next March! It’s getting closer and closer!

See you in March!
I enjoy your videos and tutorials so much. They are informative and fun. They have helped my amateur knitting quite a bit. Thank you.
I learned how to knit two at a time toe up socks recently. I understand that Regia Socks can only be knitted cuff down to get the same color progression on both socks. Is it possible to knit two at a time cuff down, and if so, how does one manage the same color progression on both socks. Thank you so much in advance.
Regia Pairfect socks have to be knittied top down. If you are working with the regular Regia Design line, which does not make two identical socks, you can knit toe up also. To knit the two at the time, you need to unwind the ball and cut when you reach the yellow thread. Remember to pull from the centre of the ball.
Can we crochet socks please?
Excellent explanation, Keep up the great work
I would love to have a big hard cover book of your beautiful sock patterns and techniques. The internet is great but I still cherish all my pattern books. You have such wonderful colorful yarns, I’m sure they would photograph beautifully.
