How to compost with Bokashi

Fall is here! The weather may be cooling and leaves falling from the trees, but our garden is still teeming with life and colour! Click on the images to enlarge.

A lot of people who come and visit us are also very surprised to see a garden in full bloom at this time of the year, but our blooms will usually last until the first frosts, which usually arrive in the middle or end of October. It’s quite a sight, seeing all the frozen flowers when the first frosts arrive! Our very young flower meadow is also looking quite good right now, even if it is quite a new addition to the garden, which hasn’t established itself quite yet. Last year, we  started planting this meadow, which we hope will become larger and larger every year and help us attract even more insects and birds into our garden. Here are the first images of our meadow, which is coming along quite nicely. It will probably take another 2 years before it is completed, but we are loving the red poppies and purple flowers!
