Hi everyone!
We are delighted to announce that our first collection for Rowan, titled NEW NORDIC, is now available! You can get the Magazine through your favourite Rowan stockists or you can purchase individual patterns on the Rowan website.
Inspired by our own Nordic knitting culture, we have created 12 designs that are deeply anchored in our traditional Scandinavian heritage and which are updated with a modern twist. We also decided to combine our two favourite Rowan yarns, Felted Tweed and Kidsilk Haze to create some interesting textures while knitting colour work. We really love these two yarns, which are actually totally different from each other, but combining them for colour work and intarsia gives a little extra edge to the garments, making them more contemporary and relevant. That is why we chose to call this collection NEW NORDIC.

We will be posting more images from the collection and explain more about the inspiration behind these designs, as well as the behind the scenes during the photo shoot later in the fall, when people really start getting into the mood for knitting winter clothes.
