Your Sit & Knit for a Bit has been a true sparkly ornament for this dreary 2020! Enjoy your break, and I look forward to new podcasts in 2021!
Arnie and Carlos Happy Holidays to you! Each day I’ve looked forward to your podcasts. The enlightening discussions about life in Finland, your creative ventures, and of course, those wonderful canine housemates have all brightened this time for me of COVID and political turmoil here in the US. Thank you!
Amen to that!
Merry Christmas Arne and Carlos! Enjoy your well-deserved time off!
I’m so happy Kate at The Last Homely House spoke so highly of y’all and led me to your videos! I’m not a knitter, but I’m enjoying the chat so much. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thankyou for all you have done throughout the year, to keep our spirits up. I wish you a Happy and Healthy 2021 and look forward to more of your videos and blogs. Stay safe x
Thank you for all you have done for us. I came to you via Kate at the last homely house and very pleased I did. Happy New year to you both. Hope you have enjoyed your break.
I have loved your videos and the traditional information. I thought in one of your videos you said we could post our pictures of 2020 balls until January 2,2021 ie that correct or is December 31 2020 the last date? Also I am wondering if the crystals can be attached using the electric crystal applicator? air what glue I should use instead. Thanks so much for the Advent ball patterns I will try to add bling to my balls in the New year as I just found my Electric applicator ‘Stone Styler ‘ two days ago and I have many crystals left.
Hi Arne and Carlos!
Thank you so much for the Christmas Ball Advent calendar event! It was so much fun and great to see the hundreds of photos of people’s work.
I’m so sorry to hear about your continued struggles with the effects of COVID, Carlos. I’m sure that your time in the hospital will improve things for you, it’s the best place to be to get concentrated health care.
Dear Arne and Carlos, please take care and thank you for all the joy you bring!
Happy new year to you all- I hope Carlos makes a good recovery- the time will go quickly and you Arne will be busy even if the dogs are looking after you. I have been ‘stuck’ in Norway since February 2020 unable to go home to Australia and your programs have been a great joy to me and my knitting has improved a lot- many thanks and stay well. Best wishes for an excellent rehabilitation Carlos
Thanks for all your energy this holiday season- coming across your Youtube was very helpful in the days of fading light. I see in your newsletter, Carlos is still recovering, and needs to focus on his health for a few weeks. Wishing you both light and energy from Alaska as you recover and support each other. Cheers to more colorful knitting, genealogy- and hopefully travel adventures as soon as world dynamics are safer.
Lisa
PS. Curious about where you went on Mexico trip- We visit family and friends in San Miguel de Allende often, but have enjoyed traveling about to many other areas. Totally inspiring color palettes when you live somewhere green and grey, right? So many warm colors- I have started bringing more into my painting and knitting as a result.
Dear Arne and Carlos, I send you warmest wishes for Carlos’s speedy and full recovery — I will be thinking of you both!
Hi, I missed the deadline for posting my pictures of my project. Maybe next year. Stay safe, get well see you soon. 😉🤗
I’m so excited – I ordered your slippers book and am eagerly awaiting it’s arrival.
I just discovered your VLOG in Dec. 2020, and loved it. I hope you both had a blessed Christmas and are safe and well. Here in Ill. we are staying in due to covid, it is a perfect time to sit and knit. I am looking forward to your you tube videos in 2021, and enjoy your break!
Thank you for a wonderful year and hope 2021 will be much better! I hope that Carlos’ recovery is quick and complete.
My Mother’s parents were from Denmark so it was interesting to hear you talk about Norwegian Christmas customs. There are Jule Nisse in Denmark too!
Arne’s cabbage with apples recipe is outstanding. My Mom could make aebleskivers and thin pancakes with jelly all rolled up into a tube. And we never never had lutefisk. Ever!!!.
