Dear friends,

As the year draws to a close and the light grows softer, we wanted to send a Christmas greeting — and to wish you a peaceful holiday season and a gentle start to the New Year.

Before we turn the page, we would also like to share a few things we are looking forward to in 2026.

In April 2026, we’ll be returning to North America for a small tour, with appearances in

Québec City on April 9,
Toronto on April 11, and
Vancouver on April 22.

It means a great deal to us to meet you in person again — to sit together, talk, knit, and share inspiration. These evenings are thoughtfully organised by friends in the local knitting communities: Les Laines Biscotte in Québec City, The Toronto Knitters Guild in collaboration with The Knitting Loft in Toronto, and Urban Yarns in Vancouver.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re quietly shaping three longer journeys:

– a curated textiles journey in Peru (October),
– a knitting river cruise through Normandy (September), and
– a Christmas Ball knitting river cruise along the Christmas markets of the Danube (December).

All very different — but each rooted in craftsmanship, landscape, and shared experience.

Our Norwegian cruises continue in 2026 — with Knitting under the Borealis sailing in February and March (now fully booked), and Knitting under the Midnight Sun taking place July 27–August 11, 2026, following the Norwegian coast all the way north to Svalbard, in the season when daylight lingers through the night and the landscape unfolds at an unhurried pace. Registration for Knitting under the Midnight Sun opens for those on our Journeys list on January 7, 2026 at 6:00 pm CET (noon EST), with further details shared closer to the time.

If you’d like to read more about how we think about travel, textiles, and companionship on the road, you’ll find an overview of  on our Journeys page.

Finally, thank you — for your warmth, your patience, your messages, and your continued presence. None of what we do exists without the people who walk alongside us, stitch by stitch, year after year.

With our warmest wishes for Christmas and the New Year —
and gratitude from the heart.

With warmth from our studio,
ARNE & CARLOS

This is a great picture of the two of you and your home in the mountains and on the lake. God Jul, may 2026 be as productive and inspiring as 2025🎉
