This week we are back to repairing our old cardigan. We have removed the placket, and we are now knitting a new one – with button holes.

PATTERN:
Make a placket based on the size of the buttons you want to use and the yarn you use. If the button size matches the width of two stitches, make a placket with the same number of stitches on each side of the buttonhole.
For example, make 4sts + 2sts (= buttonhole) + 4sts facing.
Knitting the buttons:
Knit the placket back and forth * k1, p1*. Make the buttonholes k on k and p on p.
Ndl. 1: k4, BO 2. k4 inkl. last sts from BO.
Ndl. 2: k4, CO 4, k4.
ENJOY!
