This is not a reply but a request…I just ordered $150 in yarn to make the Hedwig. i’ve been practicing, and watched the videos in slo-mo. I am using merino DK, but my flowers don’t look like Arnes….much more open work and not fluffy. I have tried worsted yarn, but still the work is too open compared to Arnes. What can be done. I did not order Scachenmayr yarn, but the same weight, etc. Also, I charted the pattern example, and Arne used at least 20 different colors! plus background color. So I ordered that many..and will have lots of leftover yarn to make the other throws. I am crocheting exactly as Arne and follow along as he does it….but mine just don’t look the same. Will it come together when completed and assembled. thanks. Love you guys

Looks like your tension might be different than ours. We recommend going down on your hook size.
