You two guys really crack me up!! Really enjoyed the video even though I was disappointed not to see the canoe out takes, Carlos 🙂 Your little part of Norway looks sooooo beautiful! Belated birthday greetings Arne and Many Happy Returns. BTW – that is NOT glamping 🙂 Very best wishes from me in gloomy London!

    • Irene on June 24, 2019 at 1:23 pm

You guys are so much fun. Thanks for sharing this with us. I love you guys and Freya too! I’ll have to try glamping sometime, with my knitting projects and my dog of course! Best wishes from Canada where summer has just begun.

    • Rosalyn Schultze on June 24, 2019 at 1:44 pm

What a joy visiting with you on your lakeshore! I love the tradition of collecting seven wildflowers and placing them under your pillow to dream of your beloved. I hope Freya had enough room in the tent and wasn’t inconvenienced with Arne’s knitting! Happy, happy birthday Arne!

    • Vivian on June 24, 2019 at 1:47 pm

    • Lynne Brooks on June 24, 2019 at 2:23 pm

Oh I love this episode! I wish I had seen it in time for Midsummer’s Eve! I would have tried the wildflowers tradition! Especially as Swedish makes up a good deal of my heritage. 🙂 I’ll have to wait to next year to dream of my true love! 😉 Beautiful where you’re camping! Not terribly sure it’s glamping…we’d have to see inside the tent! Hugs to you both! Hope you enjoyed your birthday, Arne! 🙂

    • JoAn on June 24, 2019 at 3:27 pm

You really made my day. And it was wonderful already 😉
So thank you again for enjoying life and let me and the rest of the world enjoy it with you.
Hugs from JoAn (the lady with the long, grey hair) from Wolhalla, The Netherlands.

    • Donna Aase on June 24, 2019 at 4:18 pm

Happy Birthday, Arne. And remember……Do not sleep away the summer sun. 🙂

    • Marienella on June 24, 2019 at 5:30 pm

Happy, Happy Birthday to you, Arne!

You two are so funny that I could not stop laughing at Carlos’ discomfort and you, Arne’s unapologetic comeback with the tent being comfortable. BUT, I agree with Carlos that sleeping on a rock and knitting needles is not appealing. Good night sweet couple. Love you both dearly.

    • Dorinda Contreras on June 24, 2019 at 6:14 pm

Dudes I laughed so hard!!!! In the US, glamping includes like extra special things that make you feel like you are not really camping hahahahaa! I love your banter! Thank you for showing us what the MidSummer looks like in Norway. I’m not sure I’d ever sleep if I lived there in the summer! How spectacular. Really spectacular!!! Thanks for sharing and happy birthday Dear Arne! Much love,
    Dorinda Contreras

    • Ludmilla on June 24, 2019 at 10:38 pm

Can you join the holidays from the UK?

    • Carol Jensen on June 25, 2019 at 7:21 am

Do I see railway tracks behind you? Looks like it. I chuckled at this episode. Thanks from Canada.

    • lucy on June 26, 2019 at 1:01 am

I’m checking in from Tasmania so for me it was midwinter… good to see a little reminder of the sun that will soon be heading back our way!

    • patricia Ida on June 26, 2019 at 7:33 am

    Love you both.
Your last video was very amusing.
I would love to have seen you getting from the canoe.
    Real reality t.v.

    • Midge on June 29, 2019 at 9:39 pm

This was fun to watch, especially as we just returned from a 2-week camping trip in the wilds of Wisconsin. (I totally sympathize with not wanting to be videoed while getting out of a canoe, although I can usually manage it by myself but it is not a pretty sight. )

    • Kathlyn Dettmer on July 13, 2019 at 6:23 pm

Who plays the guitar music at the end – I love it.
p,.s. your tent doesn’t look very glampy – hehe
