Here is the pattern for the crochet Snowflake. You can find the tutorial here.
Hook 3 mm
Yarn: Catania 100% cotton from SCHACHENMAYR. Buy it here.
Ch 6 and join into a ring with 1sl st into 1st ch.
Rnd 1: ( Ch 5 and 1 sc around the ring ) around until there are total 5 ch. End with ch 2 and 1 dc around the ring (= ch 5 ).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2dc around the last dc in rnd 1,
( ch 8, 3 dc around the next ch 5 )
End with 1sl st in top of first dc in the first group of dc
( = ch 3).
Rnd 3: 3sl st to the ch 8, ch 3, 2dc around the ch 8, ch 3 and 3 dc around the ch, ( ch 3, 3dc around the next ch 8 , ch 3 and 3 dc around the same ch).
End with 3dc around the last ch 8, ch 3 and 3dc back around the same ch, ch 3 and 1sl in top of the first dc ( = 3sc ) around the first 5 ch.
Rnd 4: 3 sl st to the ch 3 between the two groups of dc, ch 3 ( =1dc), 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc back around the same ch.
( ch 3, 1sc around the ch of 3, ch 3, crochet around the next ch of 3, 3dc, ch 3, 3dc ).
End with ch 3 and 1 sl st in top of first dc ( = ch 3 ) in the first group of dc.
Rnd 5: 3 sl st to the ch 3 between the first two goups of dc, ch 3, 2dc around the same ch, ch 3 and 3dc back around the ch.
( ch 5, 1sc in sc around the ch 3, ch 5, around the next chain crochet 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc )
End with ch 5 and 1 sl st in top of first dc ( = ch 3 ) in the first group of dc.
Rnd 6: ch 3 in top of first dc ( ch 3), 1dc in top of the next 2 dc, ( crochet around the ch of 3, 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc and 1dc in top of the next 3dc, ch 3, 1 sc in sc over the ch of 8, ch 3, 1dc in top of the next 3dc )
End with ch 3, 1 sc in sc over the ch of 8, ch 3 and 1sl st in top of first dc.
Cut the yarn and pull it through the last sl st, sew the ends. Steam the snowflake using a wet towel and an iron.
